Great Job, Mr. President

Dear Colleagues,

Please join me in congratulating our most able president, Mr. Joseph Sankoh for his conscientious effort and dedication in illuminating Aria’s mission to the global audience.

As you may have seen changes in the organization’s website and its intuitive characteristics, which we are all proud of including myself, our commitment to making Aria one of the organizations that is leading the humanitarian campaign in Africa must now be made real.

To heads of missions, you should regard the nature of Aria’a missions as a franchise in that your efforts and development-oriented goals given the needs of your operational area is your equity to making your mission grow to success. Presently, the organizations has not got the necessary resources to manage it programs effectively so we cannot offer any financial support to missions abroad.

However, we can work closely with our missions in developing local initiatives and programs that will attract local and external support. But each individual mission should have a plan of action and project proposal(s) that are actionable and complement existing realities.

As I am in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, my mission here is to work with interested partners for the setting up a mission as part of our goals for the 2015 fiscal year. Our work is almost near completion (obtaining registration from the appropriate authorities) and I can tell you that it is not an easy task. One has to deal with a lot of issues from the climate to the environment. But I know one thing, our mission must be met.

Finally, I want to encourage our new ED’s to look beyond the now and engage in activities that will impact the lives of those we stand to serve. Our offices are open to you and you are now part of the Aria family so do not hesitate to contact us with any issues you might have. One way your mission can be successful is to drum up local support. Launching your mission is one way to get support and collaboration. Plan a date for the launching, invite as many organizations are you can, agencies both government and private, corporate entities and foreign missions. Don’t forget individuals especially philanthropists and community leaders.

Let’s work together and grow together!
